Marvel Select Thor 2 : The Dark World Thor Action Figure

Wooo, I have been so busy and got no time to open figures. Another reason is that I have no room. Over 200 Figures on display in my room...lol. But today! I made some room for my Marvel section. Finally got some room to put more Marvel stuffs out. Anywayz, I will go on with the review.

The figure has standard Marvel / Diamond Select packaging, very big and blocky, expensive on shipping =_= and hard to collect the box. What I usually do now is use cutter to cut along the edge of the box so it will not damage the cardboard part. I just collect the cardboard part and the side of the box, it has a very cool large art on it, is pretty cool. The other thing is the plastic sticker thingy on the lower left corner of the box, I cut them out and use them as bookmark.

The side art is really nice!! I really love
the side art of Marvel Select. But I really
don't like the packaging tho, it is too much waste!! I toss the plastic every time. I wish they going to switch to paper box one day,
It will better for environment and lighter
to ship.

The figure is sculpted by Gentle Giant, so the sculpt is very good, it is harder to see in picture but they look better in person, the face does really look like Chris Hemsworth. The figure stands at around 8 inches tall.

A tiny bit taller than other Marvel Select figures, such as Dare Devil, Captain Marvel. Comes with his Hammer of Thunder Mjölnir. His cape is made out of flexible rubberish material. The Figure can stand on his own pretty well.

A close up to the face, the sculpt is really good.

The joints are pretty good, very poseable. This is just showing what you can do with the joints. You can do some pretty crazy poses.

The following is height compare with Jane Foster. He's a lot taller than Jane. Jane Foster will be review next.

Include a base that can be combline with
Jane Foster's base. Which will be cover next review.

Box Art : Same as all Marvel Select packaging. Nice Side Arts, but hate the plastic part of the box as I said up there.

Extra Parts included : Just come with a hammer and the base, nothing special but the base is pretty good.

Figure QC :Sculpted by Gentle Giant so is pretty good. The face and the whole figure look like the actor in the movie.

Articulation : Good articulation, compare to some older Marvel Select figures, this is very good.

Figure Design : I really like the figure, there's nothing really I can complain.

Price : $24.99 to $39.99. great price!!! Marvel Select always have the best price compare to other company. Other company charge too much!!!
