SquareEnix Play Arts Kai Final Fantasy Dragoon Limited Edition Review

Well, sorry about the delay again, this is suppose to come out a day or 2 after the Warrior Of Light Review but got busy =_=, but here it is =D.

Another really bad ass front box art. If you guys read my Warrior of Light review, you guys should know how much I like the new Play Arts Kai box now. Nice Art with golden text and the window box display style and a cover, it is so perfect.

Back of the box, This pose is REALLY HARD to do lol, I will show you guys how I "try" to pose it later on.

Inside the window display cover. The left side box art is not the actual figure but an anime design of it, it is really nice.

***What is the different between the regular ver. and this Limited ver? Well, they are mostly the same except the color are a little different. The original ver. has brighter color and the helmet mane is white and blue. The Limited ver. has Darker colors and a yellow mane. I choose this version because I think this version is closer to the original Dragoon Design over the years. ***

I could be wrong but I don't remember I ever see a Dragoon use sword but lol, whatever, the more weapon the better?

I really like this figure ALOT, much more than Warrior Of Light. BUT there are also some problem. The figure is using the new design on shoulders but mine has a loose joint. It is not a big deal, I just need to be careful. The following is the whole shoulder joint came out, but it is not broken tho! All I have to do is put that shoulder back in harder and make sure not to break it.

This new design is MUCH better than the old ones but, it is still not perfect tho.

Close up on face, The sculpt is not bad, print job is very good, big improvement from Warrior Of Light!!!

The figure is around 10 inches tall, it is the same scales as the newer Play Arts Kai figures, scale is around 1/7 scale.

I guess Dragoon is master of Sword and Spear?

His Spear is actually pretty damn big =D. Very bad ass, the ribbon is made out of softer plastic.

I am trying to do that same pose on the back box art, but it is very hard to do :O. Doesn't really look like it tho.

 This is after 30 mins of massing around, but this is the best I can do :O.  Still don't really like the back box art tho.

Final Review:
Box Art : The design of the box is really bad ass, I really like it. It matches the Final Fantasy theme and it has metallic gold text on it, making it really fancy. It also has a window display cover.
Score : 10 / 10

Extra Parts included : Weapon include Sword with sheath and Spear. Also comes with 3 different hands and base stand.
Score : 10/10

Figure QC :The QC is very good!! The print job is perfect. However, I have a loose shoulder joint but! It is not broken so its ok, I should not take points off from Design problem, this is QC.
Score : 10/ 10

Articulation : Not bad articulation, but I don't want to risk breaking this expensive figure lol so I just pose some more "normal" poses.
Score : 8 /10

Figure Design : Very detailed Sculpt works, really nice armor and his face is also pretty good. Very bad ass figure!!!
 Score : 10/10

Price : $99.99, well it is pretty expensive but I think I get what I pay for, very  high QC, bad ass figure design, perfect print job.
Score : 8 / 10

Overall :This is my Fav newer Play Arts figure so far, holy shit, it is just so bad ass looking. Dragoon is always my favourite job class in Final Fantasy, this follow very close to the traditional design of Dragoon over the  years.

SquareEnix Play Arts Kai Final Fantasy Hero Of Light Review

Well, people has been wondering where the hell am I? The answer is all things with a camera on it had been BROKEN! =_=. That included Cell phone, tablet and digital camera broken for NO reason. What the fuck...=_=...It was some dark times... It happened back in early Nov, 2014. Then Christmas came, I got busy. I did got a new Tablet (EVGA Tegra note 7) during Black Friday sale. It was a damn good tablet but! It has way too much dead pixels on screen so i had to return it. Until now! I am borrowing an ipad from someone. Also there were WAY too much item has a delay shipment from Bandai and Diamond Comics and I had to deal with them. So that's why I have been silence for a while lol, but I am back! =D. I was also way too busy to open any figures too, no fun at all for me in Christmas / New year.

Now, the review. This is one of the most excited figure I want to open for ages, but have no time!  But here it is Finally......*_*.

Front View. It is such a cool box, even it has no color but that kind of  match the theme of Final Fantasy! Metallic text make it look really fancy =D. You can also open  up the front to look at the window display which I will show later. The only down side is the black box with warning label =_=. Put this at the back =_=.....

Side view is nice of the box.

Now this side is really bad ass! It is a truly Final Fantasy style.

Back View. Nice pose with the fiber cape it comes with. YES! It has 2 type of capes!! Will talk about it later.

Window display. The art on the left hand side seems to be Anime ver. of Hero Of Light. They usually use the actual figure itself for the art, this time they did not, but this is fine.

This figure comes with LOT OF STUFFS. OMG.

 This is so much more than any other Play Arts Kai figures.

This figure is pretty heavy and is very nice! He stands at around 9.5 - 10 inches without the horns. He does not base of the model from Final Fantasy Dissidia but this is not too bad, still pretty cool. But I still prefer the Dissidia design model tho!

Close up on his main sword. Very nice looking, good print job.

Close  up on the hollow sword. It is made out of clear plastic with 2 different tones of orange, is pretty nice.

This is him with the Fiber Cape!!! It looks so much more bad ass than the rubber one!!! There are also metal wires inside the cape, so you can "pose" the cape freely! The white part on his side leg armor is also fiber.

Same pose, different view. This figure is really bad ass :O!. Also notice that I posed the cape a  little.

Close up on the face. The face is ok, Kinda looks like Animated "Ken". You know, the Barbie, Ken? lol, but is ok, just don't look at his face too close. Other than that this is still a pretty bad ass figure.

There are some design problem with this figure tho. Such as this as shown above. The upper middle part can not be taken off or it is way too tight to remove, as I was trying to do so, I kind of broke it a little, so I stopped trying.

Since I can not remove that part, I can not put the sword inside the shield =_=.

Final Review:
Box Art : The design of the box is really bad ass, I really like it. It matches the Final Fantasy theme and it has metallic gold text on it, making it really fancy. It also has a window display cover.

Extra Parts included : The figure comes with SO  MUCH STUFFS than regular Play Art Kai figures. AND the fiber cape! :O
Score : 10/10

Overall : I have mix feeling about this figure. There are thing I like and don't know on this figure. I like the figure even tho the face design is not perfect. The over all design is pretty bad ass. But the print job is not the best. It comes with lot of acc and a fiber cape, which I really like. Too bad the helmet is not removeable and comes with no hair attachments. The figure is pretty damn tall @ almost 10 inches. This is pretty much like a 1/7 scale figure. This is bigger scale than then older Final Fantasy Play Arts Kai figures. I like my figures in scales =_=. Not all over the place. But it is ok, as least  Dragoon is at same scale as this one. The shield is not working right deal to I can not remove that little part. so yea.......
